Spain Will soon Approve the Law to Support Entrepreneurs

According to numerous sources, the future Law to support entrepreneurs and their internationalization will soon be approved. According to eleconomista.es, the draft will be discussed and adopted next Wednesday, September 11, 2013, in a plenary session. In summary, we will have to wait until next week for the final approval of the document.

The text, currently at the Senate and has been since July 25, 2013, was approved last week by the Finance Commission and of Public Administration after rejecting six vetoes issued by the opposition — except the CIU (Catalonian Party).

The next phase will discuss the 413 Amendments during the plenary session of the Upper Chamber, which will take place in the Senate. According to numerous periodicals, the debate will occur next Wednesday, and lead to the Amendments’ rejection before the document’s final adoption.

The Vice President of the Spanish Government, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, declared last Friday, September 6, that the Law to support entrepreneurs will become effective by January 2014. To this end, it should be examined urgently with full legislative competence.
