Gavin Zhang

Mr. Zhang received his LL.B degree in International Economic Law with distinction from the East China University of Politics and Law. He also obtained an LL.M with merit and first-class scholarship from the University of Manchester in UK whilst sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Government in 1999. He was admitted to practice PRC laws in 1997.

Mr. Zhang has extensive experience in counselling and representing clients for international commercial affairs, including merger & acquisition by foreign investments, cooperation re-structuring of multinational companies, overseas listing, IP licensing and infringement dispute resolution, theme park development, international litigation and arbitration, etc.

He won the honours of Outstanding Individual and Rank-3 Achievement from the Ministry of Justice in 2003 and obtained the Prize of “First Session of 10 Outstanding Young Lawyers in Pu Dong New Area” in 2004.
