PDF- M.-Cooley-Law-School-Magazine-Winter-2009Mariscal Abogados provides law students with the opportunity to expand on his/her substantive and practical legal education by practcing alongside an experienced team of attorneys.Melanie gained experience in several areas working for a five-attorney law firm in Spain during the summer of 2009. In addition to writing contracts and translating legislation, articles and correspondence, she also researched Spanish and European Union law and observed the process by which settlements were made and negotiations were resolved.Working at Mariscal Abogados helped me to apply the legal substance garnered from Colley Law School, and taught me the process by which the law comes alive in drafting legal documents, client interactions and negotiations.Melanie GloverUniversity of Law Thomas Cooley, U.S.A.
